Dr Rohan Upponi, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Rohan A. Upponi received his bachelor of arts degree in speech-language pathology/audiology in 2012 from The University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. He earned his doctor’s degree in audiology in 2017 from The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. He moved to Grand Junction in 2016 and completed his clinical residency for his audiology degree with Western Colorado Hearing & Balance, where he continues to practice after graduation. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA) and is state certified to practice audiology and dispense hearing aids in the state of Colorado.
Dr. Upponi is a professional dedicated to excellent service in hearing rehabilitation. He chose audiology as a profession after growing up with grandparents who lived with hearing loss. He believes hearing healthcare requires compassion, dedication, and understanding. He has a special interest in balance assessment and especially enjoys serving the aging population and educating patients and family members on hearing loss and amplification.
He was born in Pennsylvania and raised in Texas, but feels Colorado is where he truly belongs. He enjoys travel, hiking & camping, cinema, and writing in his free time.
